Job Title: Experienced Male Autism Support Worker
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary:£12.31 per hour
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Shifts: 9.45pm until 7.30am, including some weekends
Essential: Experience in an Autism Support setting and managing challenging behaviour is essential
Service
Vermont House is a bespoke Residential Service designed to support up to six autistic adults, or those with learning disabilities and associated needs, to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead a more independent life.

Support Worker Duties
* Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills.
* Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies.
* Assisting with the development of person‑centred plans for our residents.
* Including employment, education and other opportunities.
* Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments.
* Providing personal care where needed, always working towards more independence.
* Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development.
