Experienced Candidate Resourcing Consultant
Office: Great Winchester Street, London (near Liverpool Street station)
Pertemps Education are seeking to appoint a Candidate Resourcing consultant officer to work in our offices in London. This is a full on role, supporting the sales team in their task of delivering company targets. We want someone can really take this role by the scruff of the neck, leading our charge to become the agency of choice in London. You will need to be social media savvy, so that you can stand out in a crowded market, whilst having the personality and enthusiasm to engage candidates in conversation when you interview them over the phone or online. You will the drive to work hard within the team, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. This role is integral to the success of the business so making the right appointment is key. You will set the standards, ensuring that the sales team are supported to be able to deliver the business targets they have been set.
Key role criteria:
* Building & maintaining a “Talent Pool” of strong candidates that billing consultants will place into their client schools
* Researching, identifying and attracting candidates using all appropriate methods to ensure they satisfy set job requirements
* Telephone & online interviewing candidates to gauge their suitability to register with the business
* Regular posting on social media including Linkedin to build the teams following
* Creating and maintaining relationships with candidates
* Writing, placing and updating adverts in line with company procedures
* Monitoring responses/applications received and make sure that candidates applications are processed efficiently as well as proactively and consistently strive to identify new candidates
* Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with candidates and Consultants
* Designing & writing effective candidate mailers that can be sent out to target schools
You will have:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ideally have previous recruitment experience but it isn’t essential as most importantly is your desire to begin a new and exciting career. Many successful recruiters have come from retail, estate agency, administration backgrounds before entering into the world of recruitment.
* Be highly self-motivated and have the ambition, drive and determination to be succeed in a career in recruitment
* Good understanding of social media
* Have strong customer service and relationship building skills
* Be able to prioritise your workload and escalate issues where necessary
* Excellent IT skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to produce highly accurate work at speed
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am-5.00pm. There will be times when there will be a requirement to start & finish later than the standard hours if the team are undertaking late candidate sessions, but this will be agreed in advance with your line manager.
The business works from home on a Friday and on occasional Mondays.
