Role Overview
I partner with investment businesses to help them attract & retain the best talent.
This role is an initial 12-month contract.
Working closely with the Head of Business Development and the Marketing and Business Development Director, you will take a lead role in implementing and managing business development initiatives across the Firm.
The role requires a confident and enthusiastic team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and work with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
This varied role supports and drives the Firm’s approach to business development activities. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development Director, Head of Business Development, Partners, fee earners across all offices, services, practice groups, as well as the Chosen Markets and Client Service Cornerstones. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, your responsibilities include:
1. Client listening: Managing client insights with an external consultancy to enhance relationships and client experience.
2. Intermediaries Program: Managing relationships and referrals through the firm’s Intermediaries Program.
3. Targeting: Defining and coordinating targeting activities with Partners and Office Heads.
4. Key client care: Supporting partners with Key Client Care Plans and service delivery improvements.
5. Participating in marketing and business development meetings, providing updates.
6. Collaborating on business development projects within the team.
7. Supporting the tenders team during busy periods.
8. Managing and following up on website enquiries.
Work Environment
The role is hybrid, with the option to work from any of the client’s offices, up to three days a week from home, under an agile working policy.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree education preferred but not essential.
* Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in business development within professional services or financial sectors.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* Attention to detail, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM, InDesign, and Excel.
