Events Sales and Marketing Administrator

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Events Sales and Marketing Administrator to join our client based in Marlow.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, switched-on, proactive events sales & marketing assistant to support our events, exhibitions and marketing activities. You will need to have a can-do attitude and be passionate about business events.

The successful Events Sales and Marketing Administrator will be responsible for:
* Support the Managing Director and team with sales, marketing and event support
* Support the management for a number of key clients from all sectors of the international business events industry - comprising suppliers and 'buyer's - such as Tourism Organisations and convention bureaux, DMCs, hotels and venues supplier side, to 'buyers' from agencies/intermediaries, associations and corporate direct sectors
* To develop both off and online communication skills, for the international events industry where promotional activities match their message with marketing, research and events
* Admin support for registration and attendee lists
* Maintaining the database with accurate contact details
* Confirming activities and invitations by phone and email
* Supporting events, managing registration desk, attendee liaising etc
* Adding content to website and ebroadcast systems
* Co-ordination, and administration support for events
* Support the team in achieving key goals
* Anticipating and proactively dealing with issues as they arise
* Working in an appropriate manner to support the delivery of a developing sales pipeline

The Events Sales and Marketing Administrator will have:
* Enthusiastic and responsive to every task

* Very high English proficiency comprehension, written and spoken
* Has a personal commitment to organisational excellent
* Displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions
* Commercially focussed
* Excellent communication skills
* Committed to continuous development/improvement
* Personally responsible for achieving goals and expectations

Preferred Skills:
* Understanding of LinkedIn & Instagram, other social media platforms
* Numerate & IT literate including use of MS Office suite, digital platforms, Zoom/Teams etc.
