We currently have an exciting opportunity that has opened up on our risk assessing team. Rock Compliance are looking to recruit a risk assessor based in the Yorkshire area. A strong background in the technical understanding of water systems will be advantageous for this role alongside a willingness to learn more as the company expands. We have worked hard to get the risk assessment team to where it is and, for the right candidate, this opportunity would likely lead to a fulfilling career. Due to the extensive and varied contracts we have in the area an in-depth knowledge of HSG274 Part 2 is essential with further training being available for the right candidate. Rock Compliance uses a bespoke system that promotes detailed and comprehensive risk assessments, the functionality and usage of this will be explained as part of the induction process.
Job Role and Responsibilities
To carry out own risk assessments to a high standard complete with detailed schematics.
Ensure performance in their area is managed and report any cause for concern.
Set the standard for safe system of work, risk assessors are often the first on site so we set precedent for those that come after.
Maintain a professional image on site and ensure that clients instructions are adhered to.
Take on feedback from supervisor and ensure that it is acted upon accordingly.

What we need from you
Familiarity with the water industry with a focus on risk assessment (Demonstratable via completion of City and Guilds course + Experience)
Proactive approach to work with a view to sorting problems independently but also knowing when to ask for assistance.
Working knowledge of water system schematics and their function in representing complex systems.
Excellent communication skills and being adept at relaying issues up the chain of command as they arise.
Knowledge of Legionella Risk Assessments conducted under HTM regulations is desirable as this makes up a large proportion of our portfolio.
Knowledge of risk assessing Evaporative Cooling System would be advantageous.
