Overview
Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Kinloch Street, Carnoustie. However with our agile working approach, an alternate Angus base may be considered. Travel throughout Angus for work purposes (visits and meetings) will also be required. This is a workstyle 4 - Hybrid position. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices, working from a variety of locations including council buildings, service user locations, site visits, and from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Responsibilities
* Working alongside a team of Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants you will consider how the Occupational Therapy Service can assist individuals over and under 65, including children, living in the community who are affected by disability/illness.
* You will consider how people can be enabled to maximise their safety and independence and live the life they want, as well as helping to deliver safe and sustainable methods of care.
* You will be expected to work as part of a team in ensuring effective delivery of care and a seamless approach to practice.
* You will be expected to provide information, professional advice and recommendations to our internal and external customers and work within operational guidance and policies.
* You will be expected to undertake assessments in relation to the provision of equipment and adaptations solutions as well as assessments in relation to manual handling and the safe delivery of care by family and formal carers.
