My client, a dynamic and growing technology-led organisation, is seeking a skilled
IT Support Engineer
to lead the technical delivery of cloud-centric infrastructure projects across a diverse client base. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using Microsoft Azure and modern networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver cloud infrastructure and transformation projects, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
Ensure projects meet cost, time, scope, and compliance targets.
Collaborate with support and delivery teams for smooth service transition.
Provide clear project updates and documentation.
Identify automation opportunities and process improvements using Azure-native tools.
Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
Support strategic account planning and resource reporting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in customer-facing or MSP environments.
Strong technical expertise in Azure (IaaS, PaaS, AVD), Windows Server, AD, virtualisation, and networking.
Experience with cloud governance, security, and automation (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
Confident working with REST APIs and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305).
Prince2, APM, or equivalent project delivery certification.
Exposure to ITIL and Service Transition principles.
