Job Summary
Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely, efficiently, and with a smile — ensuring customers receive an outstanding delivery experience every time.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver parcels to homes and businesses on a planned route using a DPD van.
* Load and unload parcels safely and efficiently.
* Ensure timely and accurate deliveries within assigned routes and schedules.
* Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
* Use handheld devices for route navigation and delivery confirmation.
* Handle parcels with care, reporting any issues or damages.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
* Adhere to DPD safety standards, traffic laws, and company procedures.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
* Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
* Good physical fitness – ability to lift parcels up to 30kg.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Comfortable using handheld delivery devices and GPS.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Reliable, honest, and self-motivated.
* Able to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if requird.
