We have an opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at our well-established precision engineering company in Waterlooville.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in setting and programming FANUC controls.
* Attractive rate of pay and overtime rate. 40 hrs per week
* Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Fridays 07:30-13:30.
Skills
* Program and Set FANUC Controlled Lathes to produce high quality precision parts according to specifications and engineering drawings, ensuring on-time delivery of products while maintaining high levels of efficiency.
* Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
* Complete inspection records and interpret tooling sheets.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
* Monitor and maintain machine performance and report any maintenance requirements.
* A commitment to quality and efficiency.
Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner, ideally 5+ years experience.
* Must have experience with working to tight tolerances.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance in all aspects of work is expected.
* A strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
