Due to the company dealing with more enquiries than ever before, a new opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales to join and lead the existing Sales team in Bolton. About the role We are looking for a high energy, experienced and supportive leader to manage our high performing team of Sales Executives, Diary Managers and Associate Directors. This role will play a key role in accelerating the growth of the business by providing value added support to the team through their experience and knowledge in the sector. Your Responsibilities Responsible for delivering activity levels to meet new business targets on the services for each month. Responsible for assisting the Managing Director and the Sales Manager in the development and implantation of the business strategy. Working closely with the Managing Director to ensure the overall budgets for the business are met. Responsible for the daily reporting on team performance. Responsibility for the management of the teams KPIs, coaching and performance management when necessary. Responsible for the training and development of the external sales force. Responsible for implementing process improvements and team efficiencies. Continually keep up to date with competitor developments and ensure the team are equipped to manage objections effectively. Deliver activity to underpin the revenue requirement. Manage the team's pipeline of activity and forecast expected sales. Ensure wins and losses from team are supplied along with any other required information. Produce monthly reports for the team. Analyse monthly data and KPIs to identify training needs / coaching requirements. Work with other Sales Managers to ensure co-operation between teams and across the department. To conduct one to ones with all direct reports and work with them on their own personal development plan. This role reports to the Managing Director. Requirements and skills Experience of managing a team of sales personnel, field sales management a would be a bonus. Proven people management skills. Personal experience in a high-volume sales role. Target driven and passionate about achieving goals and succeeding. Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills. A desire to share your professional expertise and support your team with their ongoing professional development. Experience of performance coaching and developing individuals. The ability to motivate and lead your team to achieve shared goals. Be able to build and nurture strong relationships. Be capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and prioritising. Ability to work collaboratively with other sales managers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
