Are you a compassionate and proactive Cancer Nurse Specialist looking to make a real difference? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Cancer Support Team, providing clinical, emotional, and practical support to patients affected by cancer. This home-based role requires 1 day a week attendance at their Basingstoke office and offers a salary up to £47,000 a year with other amazing benefits!

As a Cancer Nurse Specialist, you will:
Deliver holistic cancer support remotely via telephone, video calls, and chat messaging.
Engage with patients at key points in their journey, ensuring their needs are regularly assessed and addressed.
Develop tailored support plans and provide psychological support and trusted information.
Prepare and debrief patients for consultations and treatments, ensuring clarity on care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate care information while ensuring confidentiality.
Follow safeguarding procedures and report incidents or concerns as per policy.
Contribute to professional development and service improvements.
Package and Benefits:
The Cancer Nurse Specialist role offers:
Annual salary of £43,000 - £47,000.
Remote working with 1 day a week attendance in Basingstoke.
Pension scheme.
The ideal Cancer Nurse Specialist will have:
NMC registration with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
At least 3 years of experience supporting cancer patients.
Certificate in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) administration.
Strong understanding of cancer pathways and safeguarding policies.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT systems.
Flexibility and resilience in emotionally challenging situations.
