Your role
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Empowering a Young Man's Independence (Burtonwood, Warrington)
A compassionate and experienced Assistant Care Manager is needed to join a supportive team in Burtonwood, Warrington. You will lead a team to empower a young man with learning disabilities, Tourette's, OCD and complex needs to live his best life. You will promote independence, lead a team of Specialist Advanced Support Workers, and champion person-centred outcomes.
About the Young Man you’ll be supporting – He enjoys films, music, football, fitness, gadgets and gaming.
* Films and Music: share enthusiasm for these interests
* Football and Fitness: encourage daily physical activity
* Gadgets and Gaming: enjoys PlayStation and new gadgets
What you’ll bring
* A professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 with supervisory units, or Care Management Level 3 in England)
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours requiring intensive support planning and management
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with a calm, patient and empathetic approach
