Overview
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position within a growing manufacturing site in Somerset. The engineer will undertake multi‑skilled maintenance on state‑of‑the‑art food production machinery. Full training, development, and competitive starting salary.
Responsibilities
* Perform mechanically biased maintenance on production machinery, pumps, bearings, pneumatics/hydraulics.
* Conduct planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, setting up and maintaining PPM’s.
* Participate in installation work on a project basis.
* Assist with mechanical maintenance on a rotating shift pattern.
Qualifications & Skills
* Mechanical maintenance background or bias.
* Basic electrical skills.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
