We have a fabulous opportunity for a graduate to join us at The Hastings Academy to begin their career as a Teacher of Maths.
Commencing in January 2026, you will receive supported on-the-job training for 4 days of the week, and for one day each week you will complete your Teacher Training with our Apprenticeship provider, for a minimum period of 12 months.
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be employed at an alternative local academy should a suitable vacancy not be available at The Hastings Academy.

1. Remote PPA: All teaching staff are entitled to one afternoon of remote PPA per week, allowing them to work from home during this time.

3. Only One After-School Event per Week: Always on Thursdays. No doubles. No burnout.
4. Well-Being Ambassadors & Weeks: Our school has designated staff responsible for promoting well-being, feeding back directly to leadership and organising well-being weeks.

7. Two-Week October Half Term: Our autumn term is the longest of the year. Instead of running an exhausting 8-week block followed by 7 more, we’ve redesigned the calendar into two balanced 7-week half terms.
