We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join our team in handling property transactions. The ideal candidate will have previous conveyancing experience with a thorough understanding of residential property law and a proven track record in managing all aspects of the conveyancing process. This role requires a detailed oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a mixed caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and estate agents to provide regular updates to all
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents and ensuring the case management system is updated
* Conducting property searches and enquiries, drafting reports on title, submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns, carrying out AML checks and checking proof of funds.
* Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
* Handling financial aspects of property transactions
Experience:
* Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancer is essential with at least 3 years experience handling your own handling being essential.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders
* Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks efficiently
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes
* Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Professional qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) is preferred but not essential.
Salary up to £45,000 and is dependent on experience.
