We’re looking for a Development Manager to oversee operations at a stunning residential development within vast grounds in Enfield. With 250 homes already occupied, this is a role for someone ready to step up, take ownership, and ensure residents continue to enjoy a safe, well-run environment.
Role Details
* Location: Enfield, on site every day.
* Package: Competitive salary based on experience.
* Industry: Residential Property Management
What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing contractors across maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning to ensure consistent standards across large grounds.
* Managing day-to-day operations, compliance, and health & safety across the estate.
* Overseeing contracts, risk management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
* Monitoring budgets, KPIs, and service charge reporting (with training and support where needed).
* Acting as the first point of contact for residents, resolving queries and maintaining strong community relationships.
Main Skills Needed
* Experience managing or supervising teams — an Assistant Manager from housing or hospitality looking to progress would be ideal.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contractors.
* Financial awareness with a willingness to learn service charge management.
* Comfortable using Excel and other property management systems.
* Resilient, adaptable, and service-driven with a proactive approach.
