As a Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced simulation models and frameworks for our robotics projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our simulation systems, helping to drive the success of our robotics solutions. The role will involve work in both our London office as well as frequent visits to our Wallingford production facility. You will: Design and develop advanced simulation environments for our ROS 2 robotic stack to investigate navigation, obstacle detection, path planning, localisation Enable continuous testing and continuous validation on customer environments to unlock fast development cycles Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop simulation solutions Be setting up and validating and recording results of possible collision zones & recording reports Implement and optimise simulated environments and physics engines Continuously improve and enhance simulation systems and processes Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics simulation technology and implement best practices
