I am hiring for Payments Solution Architect
Location: Knutsford / Northampton (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
Job Description
* Lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient, and secure architecture solutions for core banking and current account journeys, including loans, account switching, and payments.
* Provide architectural leadership across cards and payments systems, covering card issuance and authorisation journeys.
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business requirements and regulatory controls.
* Own architectural governance by producing and reviewing design artefacts covering security, privacy, risk, and records management.
* Guide integration strategies across core banking, payments, and cards platforms, balancing cloud adoption, automation, and compliance.
* Evaluate vendor solutions, support systems strategy, and drive automation to reduce operational overhead and manual processes.
