Hull University Teaching Hospitals are recruiting a Band 3 Therapy Assistant for Acute Medicine at Hull Royal Infirmary. The post holder will support the assessment of need across a range of conditions, deliver evidence‑based interventions and promote recovery and independence for patients.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists and the multi‑disciplinary team to support assessment of patient needs.
* Deliver direct therapy support and evidence‑based interventions to promote recovery, well‑being and independent functioning in all areas of life.
* Assist with clerical and administrative duties related to patient care, including the management of mobility aids and clinical supplies.
* Work Monday to Friday, 1 in 5 rolling weekends, and contribute to the bank holiday rota.
* Be ready to work at any site within the Trust and in any clinical area as required.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent.
* Experience working in healthcare settings, ideally with some therapeutic experience.
