Balgove Larder – Head of Retail

Location: Countryside, Scotland (Fife)

What you’ll be doing

* Lead day‑to‑day operation of the Farm Shop, maintaining high service and presentation standards.
* Motivate, develop and manage the retail team.
* Oversee product displays, merchandising and stock levels.
* Coordinate with internal departments (butchery, bakery, deli, etc.) for cohesive retail offering.
* Monitor sales performance, manage stock control, and identify revenue opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and operational procedures.
* Support recruitment, training and performance management of the retail team.
* Contribute to growth and development of the Farm Shop within the wider Balgove business.

Key responsibilities

* Define and execute a scalable, data‑driven global retail model aligned with brand goals.
