About the role
Band 1 - base salary of $64,032 per annum (plus super) – pro rata
Applications are now open for TasNetworks’ 2025-2026 Summer Student Program. We have paid, 12-week opportunities for students currently studying Electrical Engineering, Business, Environmental Geospatial Science, or HR - Employee Relations.
Across the program, you’ll work alongside industry experts and gain hands-on experience in projects that shape Tasmania’s energy future. You’ll see how your studies apply in a real-world context, develop your professional skills, and build connections that could open doors for your future career.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values fresh perspectives and new ideas, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the work we do for our customers and communities.
About you
You’re an enthusiastic and motivated student who’s curious about how your studies connect to the real world. You enjoy working with others, learning from experienced professionals, and contributing your own ideas to solve problems.
You are:
1. Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Business, Environmental Geospatial Science, or HR - Employee Relations
2. A strong communicator who works well in a team environment
3. Eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges
4. Able to bring fresh perspectives and contribute to meaningful projects
