Our client is a well-known distributor of dangerous goods with a vast network across the UK. You will be responsible for leading teams across multiple sites and will report into the Head of operations for the UK.
As Regional Operations Manager - Dangerous Goods, your key responsibilities will include:
* Regulatory compliance, internal audits, maintenance programs, and product quality
* Effective management across all sites through engagement and communication with staff and customers
* Drives productivity, data analysis, and decision-making to reduce lost productivity and under performance
* Overall freight budget and decision making, utilising performance data to achieve KPIs and support business growth.
* Team recruitment, retention, development and training
Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements:
* Hold recent Certificate of Professional competence in National Road Haulage Operations - Essential
* Demonstrable experience of managing transport operations and dangerous goods operations - Essential
* Previous experience of Airside Operations - Advantageous
* Experience with modern vehicle technologies - Essential
* Ability to demonstrate influential communication skills - Essential
* High level of computer literacy and data analysis skills - Essential
* Strong demonstrable organisation and planning skills - Essential
Upon your appointment to the role of Regional Operations Manager - Dangerous Goods, you will receive competitive salary in the region of £60,000 - £65,000 + Company Vehicle and Bonus.
