Role Overview The Integration Project Manager will facilitate the end-to-end integration of SiXworks into IBM. You will design and execute the integration roadmap, ensuring systems, processes, people, and culture align seamlessly. Your leadership will keep stakeholders informed, risks mitigated, and timelines on track throughout the integration phase. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the overall integration project plan, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource allocations. Lead cross-functional integration work streams (IT systems, operations, finance, HR, legal, and commercial) to align processes and tools. Coordinate due diligence findings into actionable tasks; track progress and resolve blockers. Facilitate change management activities: stakeholder communications, training plans, and culture-alignment workshops. Identify, monitor, and mitigate integration risks and issues; escalate critical concerns to senior leadership. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (executive sponsors, department heads, vendor partners) to secure buy-in and drive accountability. Manage integration budgets, track spend, and report on financial impacts and synergies. Generate and distribute regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Integration Steering Committee. Ensure all integration activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and data-privacy standards. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field would be advantageous. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent is highly preferred. Change management certification. Experience 5–8 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on mergers, acquisitions, or systems integrations. Demonstrated track record managing work stream, cross-company integration projects. Hands-on experience with integration tools and platforms (e.g., ERP migrations, CRM consolidations). Proven ability to work within fast-paced, matrixes environments and manage third-party vendors. Skills & Competencies Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with keen attention to detail. Proficient in project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence). Financial acumen: budget creation, cost-benefit analysis, synergy tracking. Risk management expertise: identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting. Change leadership: driving adoption, managing resistance, and fostering cultural alignment.
