Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

Role and Responsibilities
* Lead and advise on the requirements gathering process by facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and observing Subject Matter Experts and Product Owners to define business objectives, functional needs, and system goals.
* Collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers to create both high-level and detailed solution designs aligned with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
* Take ownership of the Product Backlog, ensuring requirements are accurately documented as User Stories using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles, and work with Product Owners to secure approval before development begins.
* Redesign and optimize business processes, offering guidance on improvements based on industry best practices and the native functionality of Dynamics 365.
* Oversee the functional design of delivered solutions to ensure they meet user needs and remain consistent with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform standards.
* Support clients in shaping CRM strategies and roadmaps, demonstrating the potential of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform to inspire innovation and drive value.
Experience
* Genuine enthusiasm for the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, with a strong understanding of both their out-of-the-box features and limitations.
* Proven experience in delivering end-to-end CRM implementation projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a solid grasp of the related business processes.
* Skilled in leading workshops to capture and define user requirements, and in translating those needs into streamlined business processes and a well-structured product backlog.
* Passionate about Agile delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience planning projects in sprints and writing Epics, Features, and User Stories.
* Good understanding of the wider Microsoft technology ecosystem and the ability to integrate these tools to develop effective, scalable solutions in fast-paced Agile environments.
