Telent's Network Services division is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Engineering team in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service to ensure high customer satisfaction. They will serve as a bridge between engineering and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk teams within Telent.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities.
* Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
* Identify trends, security threats, and technical bulletins affecting customers.
* Manage documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Follow internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and change management.
* Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval, and lab testing.
* Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
* Peer review engineering documentation.
* Lead pre-staging of equipment for customer sites.
* Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
* Accurately submit timesheets and expenses.
* Link certifications or training to business objectives.
* Adhere to GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in medium to large support environments, with on-premise Cloud Services experience.
* Desirable certifications include VCP 6.x-DCV, MCSA: Windows Server 2016+, LPIC-2, VMware vCloud Director.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
