Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Product Design and Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Developing schemes of work and assessment materials.
* Supporting students with SEN and varying abilities.
* Helping students understand design processes, materials, and practical techniques.
* Contributing to extra-curricular Design and Technology activities.
* Participating in staff training, meetings, and parents’ evenings.
* Teaching additional subjects aligned with your expertise, where applicable.

Requirements
* UK teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE in Design & Technology or B.Ed with QTS).
* Experience teaching Product Design and Food Technology to GCSE.
* Ability to differentiate lessons for mixed-ability classes.
* Strong behaviour management skills, including experience with SEMH students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
