We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who's ready to take the reins in a fast-moving, growing business. If you love variety, responsibility, and making a real impact, this role could be a great fit.
You'll be leading the finance function day-to-day - owning everything from management accounts and budgets to cashflow and financial strategy. It's a fantastic opportunity to join a scaling business where your input really matters, not just to the numbers but to how we grow.
What you'll be doing:
Lead and manage the finance team, overseeing all daily accounting operations
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
Handle weekly P&L reporting
Manage cashflow, credit control, and payments to keep things running smoothly
Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and liaise with auditors
Provide commercial insights and analysis to help drive smart business decisions
Develop and improve financial controls, policies, and processes
Partner with teams across sales, ops, and product to boost profitability and efficiency
Report directly to the directors as a key part of the leadership team
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a finance management role, ideally in a scale-up or SME
Solid understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and reporting
Commercial mindset - you see beyond the numbers and think strategically
Confident communicator and natural collaborator
Strong skills in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar, plus Excel wizardry
(Bonus) Experience in transport or logistics
