We are now looking for an AudioEngineer to join our high-performing hire and production team at our new Wallingford HQ.
The Role
This is a hands-on role that covers the full lifecycle of live event delivery — from warehouse preparation and system configuration through to on-site deployment and operation.
We are looking for someone with around 2+ years of live event experience who enjoys the practical side of production and takes pride in doing things properly.
The role involves working with our audio inventory in the warehouse, preparing systems to a high standard, and then deploying andoperatingthose systems on site. You will work on a wide range of events including theatre productions, festivals, outdoor shows, and corporate events.
This role would suit someone who has developed their skills through hands-on live sound work,perhaps startingyoung through gigs, theatre, or local events, and who genuinely enjoys the technical craft of audio.
As the company continues to grow, there will be opportunities to take increasing responsibility on site and lead smaller productions.

Working Pattern & Flexibility
Live events are seasonal anddemand-driven. During busyperiodsthis role will require flexibility, including longer days and occasional weekend work to ensure events are delivered to the standards our clients expect.
During quieter periods, time is focused within the warehouse preparing upcoming projects,maintainingequipment, and improving systems and processes that help ensure shows run smoothly.
This approach allows the team tomaintainhigh technical standards while managing workload sensibly across the year.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Preparation
* Prepare, test, service, and fault-find audio equipment, including:
* Mixing consoles and control surfaces
* Line array and point-source PA systems
* Microphones, RF systems, and backline
* Build and configure racks (RF, amplification, control) to specification and deadlines
* Carry out firmware updates across consoles, amplifiers, DSP, and networked audio devices
* Perform preventative maintenance to reduce failures on site
* Ensure equipment leaves the warehouse properly prepared and show-ready
On-Site Delivery & Systems
* Deploy andoperateaudio systems on live events, theatre, and festivals
* Assist with PA system deployment, configuration, and testing
* PA systemset upand configuration
* Amplifier setupand monitoring
* DSP setup, tuning, and verification
* Configure andoperate, including console programming and show setup
* Take responsibility for smaller shows and projects as experience develops
Logistics& Standards
* Assistwith loading, unloading, andlogisticsfor event deployment
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
* Ensure operational procedures are followed consistently, every time
Person Specification
* At least 2 years’ experience working in live music, theatre, or event environments
* Strong understanding of PA systems, including loudspeaker deployment, amplification, and DSP configuration
* Experience acting as an audio systems technician on live events
* Experience working on live events in a technical role
* High attention to detail and pride in technical standards
* Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure
* Organised, punctual, and proactive with strong time management
* Professional, positive, and team-focused attitude
* Willingness to support other departments whenrequired
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience with Allen & HeathDLive, SQ, and QU, and/orDiGiCoconsoles
* Knowledge of Dante and networked audio systems
* Experience with EV /Dynacordandd&bsystems and control software
* Relevant certifications (Forklift, PASMA, IPAF)
