Job Description: Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant. The role involves maintaining a home environment for an individual with physical health conditions that affect mobility and cause pain and fatigue. Duties include assistance with meal preparation, parenting tasks that require stairs usage, ensuring a safe and manageable home for the individual and their daughters, carrying laundry and bed linen up and down stairs, bringing food shopping into the home due to front steps, and changing bed linen on three beds. The assistant may be required to motivate the employee, break tasks into manageable steps, and support neurodiversity understanding due to both children having autism and ADHD. A full clean driving licence is essential if occasional driving of the employee’s car is required.

Terms and Conditions
* Rate: £12.89 per hour.
* Hours: 5 hours per week, ideally over 2 days (times to be negotiated).
* Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to work over 5.6 consecutive weeks.
* Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
* Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (cost covered by employer).
* Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
