Greenacres in Banstead is looking for a caring, reliable Housekeeper to join our dedicated team and help them provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents living with dementia. Your work will make a real difference every day, supporting comfort, wellbeing, and peace of mind for residents and their families.
What you’ll do:
1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff spaces
2. Follow infection‑control and health & safety procedures
3. Manage laundry, linen, and stock levels
4. Report maintenance issues promptly
5. Work in a calm, patient, and person‑centred way around residents
6. Help create a homely, reassuring atmosphere that supports familiarity and independence
What we’re looking for:
7. A warm, respectful approach to older people and those living with dementia
8. Good attention to detail and pride in your work
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
10. Reliability, compassion, and a positive attitude
