Your duties may encompass providing care support, implementing positive behaviour management strategies, and tailoring your approach to meet each child's unique needs. By forging strong bonds with students, you'll cultivate a safe and enjoyable atmosphere conducive to independence, personal growth, and exemplary conduct.
Collaborating closely with the class teacher, you'll contribute to delivering a dynamic and differentiated curriculum aimed at unlocking every student's full potential across all facets of learning. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
2. Classroom experience is desirable
3. GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
4. Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
5. Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
6. Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
7. Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
