We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join a well-established and market leading Errors and Omissions Team to perform claims handling and claims related administration. This position would be ideal for someone with demonstrable experience, seeking a new challenge within a dynamic and high performing syndicate
Duties And Accountabilities
* Perform claims adjusting in accordance with their London claims commitment, philosophy and procedures
* Handle specific class of business, US and International Errors and Omissions, claims for which claims authority has been agreed with the Head of Claims
* Ensure the Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service in particular by ensuring ECF and paper file turnaround times are met
* Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems such as DOCOsoft workflow
* Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third party experts
* Maintain strong communication and advise the head of department on any relevant claims movements/issues/trends
* Undertake any other claims related and adhoc tasks/projects as required by the business
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
* Demonstrable claims background within Errors and Omissions is essential
* Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII would be advantageous
* Technically sound claims knowledge
* Working knowledge of London market claims systems (ECF)
* Excellent, well-structured written and verbal communication/presentation skills
* Ability to work effectively and accurately to deliver results against tight deadlines
* Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
