Blackburn, Lancashire £109.85 per day Full-Time | Term Time Only | Temp to Perm Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within specialist provisions in the Blackburn area. This is a full-time, term-time only role supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils regulate their emotions, engage with learning, and develop positive behaviours. - Providing 1:1 and small group support - Supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour - Promoting emotional regulation and positive engagement - Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities - Creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment - Experience working with children or young people (SEMH desirable) - Minimum 24 months employment references - Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one - Patient, resilient, and confident managing behaviour - £109.85 per day - Full-time, consistent work - Term time only - Temp-to-perm opportunities available This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within specialist education and make a real difference in young people's lives.
