Job Summary:
Provide general technical and quality support to customers, suppliers and to internal team.
Responsibilities
Support for incoming receipt and inspection duties including recording technical information, dimensional, sample preparation, mechanical and performance testing.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities which include sample inspection and preparation, i.e., PPAP, FAI, ISIR, etc.
Provide technical/quality issue support, investigation, and resolution (customer & supplier).
Assist inspection and testing equipment maintenance and calibration.
Assist in on-going quality improvement processes.
Administration and maintenance of technical specifications, samples, records and databases
Reporting of quality related activities
Education, Experience and Functional Requirements:
HNC/HND in related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
Understanding of fastener/component manufacturing processes
Understand mechanical drawings, PPAP and related requirements
Able to use hand tools to measure and inspect parts
Proficient computer and writing skills
Professional manner and appearance
