We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Premises Manager to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and secure for our students and staff and lead our site team during an initial period of transition. As a Premises Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the functionality and aesthetic charm of our school premises, ensuring that our grounds and buildings are safe, welcoming, and conducive to learning.
Ideal Candidate:
•Proven experience in security, facilities, site or maintenance role.
•Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
•Ability to maintain and oversee facilities management plans.
•Experience of managing or supervising a small team.
•Excellent record-keeping skills and administrative proficiency.
•Basic DIY abilities and knowledge of building services.
•Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to students and staff.
•A proactive and flexible 'can do' attitude.
Responsibilities:
•Ensure the school premises are secure and well-maintained, including supervising security systems and contractors.
•Develop and implement a comprehensive buildings maintenance programme.
•Be familiar with the DfE Good Estate Management in School
•Liaise with the Business Manager and external contractors for maintenance and development projects.
•Oversee the health and safety measures on site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
•Support the site team in managing daily operations and ensuring a clean, safe environment for all.
