Based at our R&D facility at Rotherwas, due to continuing growth of the company, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to join the design team working on a range of state-of-the-art search and rescue products for the aviation industry.
Requisite capabilities / experience
* Minimum 5 years experience developing Analogue/Digital Hardware
* Knowledge of microcontroller and embedded systems
* FPGA hardware design
* Use of laboratory equipment
* PCB design software (Altium Designer)
* Design for EMC
* Design for Manufacture; Design for Test
Key Responsibilities
* Design of Electronic Schematics for analogue and digital systems
* Design of wiring interconnects
* Mentoring junior engineers
* Board / component level testing
* Support of Software engineers during design and development
* Production of Hardware specification documentation
* Support for existing products

Employment Details
* Full time position.
* Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening, or bank holiday working.
* Salary commensurate with experience.
* Free internal training provided as required.
* Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.
* Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
