Unleash your energy Skills & Responsibilities: Functioning as part of a team and under the direction of lead / senior process engineer, execute traditional and new energy & chemicals projects, including renewable energy and green hydrogen projects. Tasks will include H&MBs, performing Simulations, Process calculations, generating Line list and Equipment list, developing PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs, design of process equipment, line hydraulics, equipment datasheets and participation in safety studies including HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA. Undertakes specific tasks / area of work as defined by the lead / principal / senior process engineer. Executes allocated tasks within the requirements of the project scope, manhours, project execution plan and TDR. Works to the requirements of the design basis and industry standards. Executes work in compliance with client specification, Kent’s ISO accredited QMS, and project specific procedures, guides and standards. Performs related duties as and when instructed by lead / principal / senior process engineer or group manager. Provides input to multidiscipline deliverables. Supports decision making by other engineers. Coordinates L&L sessions with Licensors and Vendors on emerging technologies. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, Environmental & Energy Engineering, Environmental Process Engineering, Process Systems Engineering – degrees to be accredited by IChemE. Awareness of applicable international and industry specifications, standards and codes. Knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures and best practice. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with others in the team as well as clients. Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills. Behaviour/ Core Competencies High level of MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams. Flexible, enthusiastic and methodical in your approach to project work. Self-motivated & comfortable taking responsibility across a range of tasks. A desire to work collaboratively with a curious approach, challenging yourself to find new solutions. Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team. Analytical and problem solving mindset.
