We're looking for a dedicated, proactive, and safety-conscious Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Landscape Services team in Tonbridge. In this hands-on role, you'll perform a variety of grounds maintenance tasks — including grass cutting, border work, hedge trimming, and maintaining school sports fields. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, border works, hedge trimming, and sports field maintenance Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety best practices and escalating any risks to senior staff Conducting safety checks on tools and equipment and reporting any issues Using materials and machinery safely and correctly, under the guidance of the Team Leader where needed Providing excellent customer service and acting as a professional ambassador for Landscape Services Communicating with clients, resolving any concerns, and escalating issues as required Supporting operational work during adverse weather conditions (e.g., snow clearance, managing flooding) What We’re Looking For Experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor/manual role Strong knowledge of horticulture and safe operational procedures Demonstrable experience using mowing and grounds care equipment Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A self-motivated, reliable individual with a strong work ethic Ability to travel to and from Tonbridge A Full (Clean) Driving Licence Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (carried out by us) What You’ll Get in Return A permanent, full-time role in a skilled and supportive team Salary of £25,623.07 per annum Opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career in horticulture and grounds management A meaningful role that makes a real difference in the local community Be part of a company with a strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility Why CSG?
