Working Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:15 * Friday: 07:45 – 13:15 1. Role Summary The Warehouse Operative is responsible for material handling across all warehouse areas, including the CME transfer room. The role ensures compliance with SOPs, work instructions, Health & Safety guidelines, and Warehouse Best Practices, including 5S principles. The operative maintains a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while supporting production and inventory processes. 2. Principal Responsibilities * Break down sterile products onto Euro pallets for customer shipment. * Pick and prepare stock for clean room operations and subcontractor dispatch. * Ensure timely supply of kitted products to the Production Department following FIFO (First-In, First-Out), SOPs, and cGMP. * Maintain raw material flow into CME to support continuous production as per SOP77. * Accurately check supplier lot numbers, pick lists, and quantities; escalate discrepancies to management. * Ensure returned raw materials are correctly processed and tracked against the picklist until the work order is completed. * Monitor and control levels of critical consumables; prepare weekly consumable orders. * Perform timely and accurate ERP transactions to reflect inventory movement. * Adhere strictly to SOPs, quality procedures, and cGMP during all operational tasks. * Support Goods Inwards/Outwards processes to ensure full traceability of warehouse components. * Manually or mechanically (MHE) load/unload materials, ensuring safe and proper handling. * Operate forklift trucks for safe stock movement and storage * Maintain accurate labelling and secure storage of all materials. * Report health and safety concerns, unsafe practices, or faulty equipment to the relevant line manager. * Assist with general warehouse upkeep and participate in 5S improvement activities. * Carry out any additional tasks required by the business or Line Manager. 3. Additional Duties * Attend training sessions and presentations to enhance relevant knowledge and skills. * Follow company procedures regarding site entry/exit and time recording. * Support cross-functional teams and take part in continuous improvement activities as needed. 4. Qualifications and Skills Essential Proven experience in a similar warehouse or inventory role. Ability to understand and follow detailed procedures and instructions. Competent in written and spoken English. Strong numeracy skills for accurate stock handling and reporting. Effective team player with a collaborative attitude. Physically fit to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods. Safety-conscious with a responsible approach to task execution and risk management. Desirable Experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment. Understanding of 5S housekeeping methodology. Awareness of health & safety practices in a warehouse setting. Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices. Valid forklift truck license and experience in inter-warehouse material transfer
