What you'll be doing:
To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, providing a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to standards and specifications. Ensure efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide guidance and strategic management through your team.
* Previous contract catering experience.
* Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and catering staff daily. Set responsibilities and monitor performance.
* Take responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
* Communicate regularly with the client.
* Complete action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys.
* Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Ensure hospitality standards are met and seek feedback.
* Identify opportunities to develop services and discuss with line manager.
* Bring innovation and flair.
* Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if needed.
* Deliver customer requirements aligned with expectations.
