The role
* Act as a Firewatcher on site, monitoring all hot works and ensuring work is carried out safely at all times
* Maintain a constant watch for fire hazards during and after hot works operations
* Ensure all safety procedures, permits, and site rules are followed
* Work in accordance with risk assessments and carry out your own where required
* Communicate effectively with site management and operatives to maintain a safe working environment
* Keep work areas clear of hazards and report any issues immediately
* Support site teams with general duties when required by the site agent or manager
About you
* Must hold a valid ECITB Firewatcher qualification/card
* Must be able to provide two relevant commercial references
* Strong awareness of health and safety on site
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Reliable, vigilant, and able to always follow site procedures
