With support from Bristol Beer Factory, Circus City are recruiting an emerging producer (under 30 years of age) to work alongside us in delivering this year’s Circus City Festival.
Whether originator, connector, facilitator or champion, producers are a vital resource within the circus sector, enabling the creation of radical new work and supporting the vitality and sustainability of the artform and its workers. The Circus City emerging producer role aims to respond to the growing demand for circus producers and for new pathways into the profession for young people.
Now in its 6th edition in 2025, Circus City is the largest festival of its kind in the UK, running over 3 weeks in the Autumn with 40+ performances by local, national and international companies, in venues, parks, libraries and streets across the city. On average each festival reaches 4k people and provides work for over 100 artists and freelancers.
As part of the role you will be supported to attend producer training at a Muti Live Bootcamp.
We are looking forward to welcoming an Emerging Producer into our small organisation.
