Maintenance Engineer (Exclusive role)

Vickerstock are currently working in conjunction with a leading FMCG client based in Newry to assist them with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for;
1. Be responsible for electrical maintenance and repairs across all areas of the plant.
2. You will be responsible for stock and the order of parts.
3. Working with packing machines, weighers and multi-headers.
4. Partake in continuous improvement activities.
5. Proactively identify and deal rectify potential equipment/services issues.
6. Work with other functions as part of the manufacturing team to ensure efficient running of the equipment and prioritize work as agreed.
As a Maintenance Engineer ideally you will have;
7. It is essential you have a Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
8. Experience within a FMCG background - ideally food.
9. A strong knowledge of Maintenance Systems, Stock control and the ordering of parts.
