RED GLOBAL - SERVICE DESIGNER- CYBER SECURITY - 6 MONTHSEXT - CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY - INSIDE IR35 On behalf of a global client, RED is currently looking for an experienced Service Design Manager to support the Cyber Protection Workstream within the client's Cyber Improvement Programme (CIP), to improve their cyber maturity. As a Service Design Manager within the Cyber Protection Work-stream, the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing client's cybersecurity maturity by designing and implementing service improvements. Workstream 2 (WS2) - Cyber Protection has two major strands and consultant's time is expected to split in the between Vulnerability management and perimeter security operations improvements Job Details: Role - Cyber Security (Vulnerability Management) - Service Designer Duration - 6 Months ext Location - Hybrid, 2 days/week in Gloucester business park Language - English Capacity - 5 days/week, 8 hours/day Start date - ASAP Requirements : Candidates MUST be based in the UK, eligible for BPSS clearance with a valid work permit Role Details: Improve collaboration: Assist in improving collaboration between IT, security, Client Group, strategic partners, and operations teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility Customer delight: Take a customer-first approach to services definition and delivery to improve customers' perceptions of the services and products that the client company offer in a sustainable way Service Design and Strategy : Develop and refine service designs and strategies for Work-stream 2. This includes understanding current challenges, identifying improvement areas, and realising innovative solutions. Lead Service Improvement initiatives: Translate and document the client Vulnerability Standard into a process that identifies End to End steps including Service touch points and hand offs Integration of identified Vulnerability scanning events and tooling event into the service desk tooling and processes Document and agree a RACI aligned to the Vulnerability Management service Support Technology Integration : Work with technologists to ensure that security tools and platforms are integrated seamlessly into existing systems, enabling efficient vulnerability scanning and perimeter security. Process Optimisation : Streamline and optimise vulnerability management work flows and processes. Define clear guidelines and ensure they align with industry good practices. Root cause problem solving: Understanding the root cause issues that are holding the client back and taking action to resolve them. Design for Service Performance Monitoring : Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of vulnerability management and perimeter security services. Enable data driven continual improvement. Qualifications and experience: Proven experience in service design or related roles within the cybersecurity domain. Relevant ITIL4 qualifications Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
