Get Further is looking for an experienced Event Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of our flagship Get Further Forum 2026: Never Too Late to Learn— taking place on 24 August 2026 at the Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.
This consultancy role runs until 30 September, with a commitment of 2–3 days per week plus onsite delivery days.
What you’ll deliver
* Full delegate management through Cvent, from registration to post‑event surveys.
* Recruitment, training and leadership of event staff.
* Venue & supplier management, including risk assessments and compliance.
* Speaker coordination, materials collection and run‑sheet creation.
* Smooth onsite delivery and a strong post‑event wrap‑up.
We’re looking for someone who is…
* Highly experienced in delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder events (300+).
* Confident handling compliance, risk assessments and H&S.
* An empowering and calm onsite leader with excellent stakeholder skills.
* Autonomous, proactive, solutions‑focused, and ideally experienced in Cvent.
