ABOUT THE ROLE

Start your career at the heart of a world-class motorsport team, as we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Business Administrator to join us and learn from the best.

This structured apprenticeship will see you rotate through several core business departments, giving you a well-rounded foundation in business operations within a high-performance motorsport environment.

The role and responsibilities include:

As an Apprentice Business Administrator, you will gain hands-on experience in four key departments:

* Stock Control – learning how we manage thousands of precision parts to keep our operations and inventory running smoothly.

* Purchasing – helping to source components and materials essential to building and maintaining world-class competition cars.

* Sales – assist in processing orders and supporting customers from around the world.

* Accounts – gain insight into finance, invoicing, and the commercial operations behind motorsport.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

* Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.

* A confident communicator with superb telephone etiquette.

* Computer literate with good MS Office skills.

* A collaborative problem-solver who builds trust-based relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Preferred Experience:

* Previous work experience within Retail/ Warehousing / Hospitality would be beneficial, but not desirable.

* Previous work experience using stock control systems would be beneficial, but not desirable.

WHAT DO I NEED TO CONSIDER

This is an 18-month (plus End Point Assessment) apprenticeship, where you will spend time with our local training provider Gen2, in addition to working on-site at our Dovenby Hall Headquarters. At Gen2, you will learn a range of business theories, practices and skills. Training will be delivered on a one day per week basis at their training centre.
