Business by Design is an expanding facet of the Kurt Geiger Kindness Foundation charity dedicated to empowering young professionals through our tailored learning programme. As part of our expansion, we are seeking an Administrator to support our project delivery efforts.
Main Responsibilities
Managing Contacts
* Respond to Business by Design enquiries via calls, emails, and social media
* Direct enquiries to appropriate staff members
* Log all course‑related enquiries on relevant databases
* Ensure proper tracking of training monitoring and evaluation data
Training Programme Management
* Upload files and materials onto course platforms
* Assist with training‑related enquiries and direct them to the relevant staff
Project Support
* Provide administrative assistance to Business by Design projects as needed
* Cultivate relationships with young professionals and stakeholders
* Distribute resources and communications to stakeholders and external organisations
* Manage communication via the Online Business by Design Platform
Financial Management
* Track and input Business by Design finances into the database
* Track and manage the Business by Design budget
General Duties
* Attend regular line management meetings and team meetings
* Implement and update policies around Health & Safety, safeguarding, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
* Maintain contact databases and records
* Handle and process incoming post
* Manage academy resources and supplies, including purchase orders and invoices
* Assist with drafting and dispatching Business by Design correspondence
* Format Business by Design policies in line with brand guidelines
* Safeguard young people and adults at risk
* Assist with other events and projects as needed
* Develop external partnerships and relationships
* Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Head of Business by Design and the charity board of trustees
Requirements
* Proven experience in an administration role or similar
* Financial literacy
* Experience using software such as Excel and Word
* Experience working within the charity sector and with young people
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with various stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful partnerships
* Proactive and organised approach to work
* Effective time management and multitasking abilities
* Familiarity with data protection and safeguarding procedures
* Willingness to adapt and assist in various tasks as needed
* Work proactively as a team member
* Desirable: experience in a college, school, university, or other young people/educational setting
