Platinum Travel Recruitment are seeking an experienced and driven Europe Trade Travel Specialist to join our clients growing tour operator team, working remotely (UK). This is an exciting opportunity for a travel professional with strong UK tour operator experience and an established background selling European holiday products to travel agents seeking progression and a rewarding career.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing relationships with UK travel agents & tour operators, driving sales of our curated European holiday portfolio including city breaks, touring holidays, beach destinations, and tailor-made itineraries.
Europe Trade Travel Specialist Duties:
* Actively sell and promote European holiday products to UK travel agents
* Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators homeworkers and consortia.
* Manage incoming trade enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
* Provide expert advice and destination knowledge across a wide range of European destinations.
* Identify opportunities to grow B2B sales and increase agent engagement.
* Conduct agent training, webinars, and product updates.
* Attend trade events, networking functions, and industry roadshows when required.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets.
Europe Trade Travel Specialist – Essential Requirements:
* Essential: Proven experience working for a UK-based established tour operator
* Essential: Experience selling European holidays to travel agents (B2B)
* Strong knowledge of key European destinations
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Strong sales focus with the ability to convert enquiries into bookings
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
