Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the digital landscape. The Social Media Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms, including the chosen vendors
* Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our branding and marketing objectives.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and feedback using social listening tools.
* Analyse performance metrics using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
* Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Advertising to maximize reach and engagement.
* Produce visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
* Engage with followers through relationship management techniques to foster community growth.
* Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines before publication.
* Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
* Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CRM systems or similar applications
* Familiarity with public relations strategies that can enhance brand reputation online.
* Experience in content creation including photography and video editing skills is a plus.
* Excellent graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from web analytics tools.
* Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading purposes.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
