JOB DESCRIPTION (Reference 7XYR99Y3) Role Title Sales Manager DC Infrastructure Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer Direct Reports N/A initially Location Midlands (Preferably) Salary & Package: c£75,000 basic plus uncapped commission 60/40 (£120,000 ote) PMI - family cover cash plan Life assurance - 4 x salary 28 days annual leave bank holidays Pension - qualifying earnings 5% ER and 3 % EE About our client: Our client is part of a global networking group. They are seeking a Sales Manager to develop a client portfolio in line with the companys strategy of expanding into the Data Centre Infrastructure Sector. Role & Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans to break into the Data Centre Infrastructure Sector. Have total responsibility for meeting the business sales and fluid work targets. Manage clients according to the strategy in compliance with company policies and corporate procedures. Establish productive and professional relationships with key client personnel. Produce and present sales presentations both internally and externally. Produce and present weekly progress reports to internal key stakeholders. Communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) so the business pain points in order to provide solutions. Follow market trends, client behaviour and competitors to be able to adapt company strategy accordingly. Skills & Experience Essential Skills and Experience : Must possess an entrepreneurial mind set, have a proven track record in starting something from scratch, and building success. Established connections within the Data Centre Infrastructure Sector is essential. Must have 8 years of experience in the Data Centre Infrastructure Sector sales, business development and client management. A strong technical engineering knowledge of the Data Centre Infrastructure Sector. A detailed knowledge of estimating, PQQ completion, and bid management. An understanding of the contractual requirements and negotiations. Promote preliminary activities with potential customers, have sales negotiations, formulate offers, estimates and contracts, negotiate the best sales conditions. Able to create and deliver sales presentations to management and clients. Must have experience in client PQQ and tender processes. Proactive, self-motivated with a high level of autonomy. Fluency in English language both verbal and written.
